Professional Profile
Dr. Adeolu Ogundeji is a seasoned medical doctor and healthcare executive with over 20 years of experience across clinical medicine, public health, health insurance, and financial risk management. He holds an MBBS from the University of Ilorin and a postgraduate degree in Public Health from LASUCOM.
His career spans clinical practice with the Oyo State Hospital Management Board, UCH Ibadan, and Lagos State Hospital Management Board, before transitioning into health insurance and managed care. He has held senior leadership roles at Unic Insurance Plc, and KBL Healthcare Limited (a subsidiary of Keystone Bank Limited), where he contributed to strategic management and risk oversight.
Since 2016, Dr. Ogundeji has led Fountain Healthcare Limited, serving as Executive Director/COO and currently as CEO, driving innovation and expanding access to quality healthcare. He also serves as Public Health Advisor with the Canadian Red Cross and sits on the boards of the Imperial Health Advocacy Foundation (IHAF), Hexel Limited, and Hexel Incorporated.
Dr. Ogundeji has to his credit, international trainings in clinical medicine, health economics, leadership, and finance, with certifications from the World Bank Institute, University of Washington, and McGill University, Canada. He is a Fellow of the Institute for Health Insurance and Managed Care of Nigeria, a certified member of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria, and an active member of the Nigeria Medical Association, and Canada / Manitoba Public Health Associations.
