Mr. Chinonso Daniel Anyaegbunam has over eleven years post call experience as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria. He holds a degree in law from Abia State University and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2003. He also has a Masters (LLM) in Commercial law from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He began his legal career at Ricky Tarfa (SAN) & Co where he practiced as a commercial lawyer providing transactional advice, drafting and litigation services to clients.
Chinonso has extensive and practical knowledge in Banking and Commercial Law having worked as a Legal Officer in many financial institutions, and also served as secretary of the Risk Assets Committee, as well as the representative of the Compliance Department.
He has also undergone training and professional development courses in Asset Management, Arbitration, Regulatory Compliance and Forensic Law. He is currently undergoing certification as a Chartered Secretary.
Chinonso is currently a Managing Partner of Townsville Solicitors, with branches in Lagos and Enugu. He is an
External Solicitor/Legal Adviser to the National Human Rights Commission of Nigeria. He is happily married.
